How Tribe Started
Tribe began with a small surf school on Kuta Beach in Bali back in 2023. What started as basic surf lessons quickly evolved into a place where travelers could connect, learn, and experience authentic surf culture.
Through years of hosting guests and learning what makes a truly great surf experience, we realized there was an opportunity to share these lessons beyond one location. Travelers kept asking: "Where else should we go?"
That question sparked the idea for Tribe as it exists today. A conscious collection of the world's best surf destinations, each one personally vetted and selected.
